Dear Reader,

We’ve been publishing StockUpTicks for several years
and I’ve written a lot of our editorials and profiles.
There’s something interesting in most every story we do
and I enjoy drawing your attention to these
often-undiscovered stories.

But not like today.

Today I write you from the first person; from my own
personal story and experience.

A short while ago I was with my cousin who is among my
dearest friends. I grew up just three doors down from
him and his brothers, the eldest of which is Ken, who
had been hospitalized battling severe diabetes and a
wound that wouldn’t heal. I was with Ken’s brother when
he took a call from their father, my uncle, who was at
the hospital

Through the mobile phone I could hear my uncle in
tears, telling my cousin that they wanted to take Ken’s
leg; that amputation looked to be the only cure for a
diabetic wound that wouldn’t heal. “Don’t let them take
his foot, son,” my elderly uncle told my cousin,
imploring him to plead with the doctors to try
something else.

When I spoke to Phillip Loori, President of Advanced
Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: AVHC) the first
time, he told me about his company’s use of Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy to treat diabetic wounds that wouldn’t
heal. I told him about Ken’s plight and he kindly
offered to do whatever he could to help.

I hung up the phone, called my cousin and said that
this CEO had told me about a therapy that could save
Ken’s limb. I told him about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
and what it was designed to do, how it might be perfect
for Ken.

He interrupted me and said, “He’s fine now. That’s what
saved his foot. They didn’t have to amputate.”

It’s one thing to hear about FDA approvals and clinical
trials. It’s another to know that the technology that
our featured company today is based upon is the reason
your loved one still can walk.

I hope you enjoy today’s profile.

Advanced Hyperbaric Technologies, Inc., a Subsidiary of
Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc., Announces the
Publishing of a New Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Study

FARMINGDALE, N.J., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced
Hyperbaric Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Advanced
Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AVHC
- News) today announces the publishing of a new topical
hyperbaric oxygen study.

New Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Study Published-

A study, published this week in a leading medical
journal, reports that treatments using AHT 's Topical
Hyperbaric Oxygen Products facilitate wound healing and
the full closure of pressure ulcers (bed sores) in
patients at long term care facilities (nursing homes).
The study was conducted by leading wound care
researchers and specialists. The study, conducted over
a four-week period, demonstrated a 34.4% decrease in
the average size of Stage III and Stage IV ulcers by
utilizing THBO Therapy. This is highly significant, as
many of these wound ulcers can remain open for years.
The study went on to show that by healing wounds with
THBO Therapy, suffering was reduced and quality of life
was improved.

Advanced Hyperbaric Technologies, Inc. is a
wholley-owned subsidiary of AHT that's engaged in the
sale of Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers for the
healing of open wounds. AHT's products are utilized to
treat patients who suffer from chronic open wounds due
to diabetes, vascular insufficiencies, post surgical
infections, amputations, frostbite and burns. The
chambers are marketed to hospitals, doctors, wound care
clinics, nursing homes, and patients.

Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen raises tissue oxygen levels
at the wound site.

Oxygen: The body's fundamental mechanism for healing
itself. It is essential for any healing process -
especially chronic, recalcitrant open wounds. Oxygen is
vital in collagen synthesis, enhancement of
fibroblasts, angiogenesis and leucocyte function.

Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen: Raises tissue oxygen levels
at the wound site.

The Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Extremity Chamber: Pulses
topical hyperbaric oxygen at intermittent pressure
directly to the wound site. The result is oxygen levels
are raised, wounds heal faster and the cost to heal the
wound is drastically reduced.

Currently, AVHC is conducting
[Image] research at two facilities that
specialize in wound healing and
wound healing research.

-------------------

One of the main goals of studies of this
type is to generate clinical information
necessary for Medicare and other insurance
providers to pay for Topical Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy in patient's homes as well
as on an outpatient basis.

The second research project is slated to
begin in December. AHT plans to commit
resources to the Northeast Center for
Special Care, a 250-bed spinal cord injury
[Image] center. In the study, researchers will
investigate the clinical efficacy of both
the disposable sacral chamber and the
extremity chamber.

The third research project is slated to
begin in January and will begin at a large
Wound Care Center in New York. The research
project will be a 100-patient controlled
study. A controlled study of this size is
significant as clinicians, when evaluating
treatments, look for controlled studies
with large numbers of patients treated.

[Image] - THE MARKETS FOR AVHC INNOVATION - [Image]

AVHC has already signed a distribution agreement with
Innovative Medical Systems, Inc. of St. Louis,
Missouri, a medical distributor, which is marketing the
chambers in the states of Illinois, Missouri and
Kansas.

As AVHC continues to increase its sales efforts in the
United States they are beginning to focus on an even
greater marketing opportunity, the international
market. AVHC is currently selling its products in
Canada, Spain and Israel.

AVHC is communicating with medical device distributors
in Japan, Jordan and Ireland who have contacted the
company seeking the opportunity to market the chambers
in their respective countries. Additionally, AHT is
working toward a strategic partner relationship with an
overseas company to be the master distributor of its
THBO products in Europe.

The European market is of great interest to AVHC as
diabetic foot ulcers continue to be the most common
cause of lower extremity amputations in Europe.

the topical HBO chamber. When using the Full Body
Chamber, you are breathing the oxygen, and by doing so,

Insurance

Most private insurance companies, including some
Medicare and Medicaid HMO Plans are approving Topical
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on a case by case basis for
home car use. A prescription and a Letter of Medical
Necessity are required in order to start the
pre-approval process.

Traditional Medicare and Medicaid plans currently do
not cover Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the
home. However, therapy can be administered on an
out-patient basis at the doctors office or at a Wound
Care Center. Additionally patients receive treatment
when they are in-patients in a hospital or a nursing
home.

If private insurance reimbursement in unavailable or
traditional Medicare is the only insurance, reasonable
monthly rental rates can be arranged to accommodate
someone's needs.
